I-595 CORRIDOR TRAFFIC IMPACT REPORT OCTOBER 3, 2025– OCTOBER 10, 2025

I-595 SCHEDULED CLOSURES FOR ROUTINE OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE:

The following lane closures are scheduled on Eastbound/Westbound I-595 and Eastbound/Westbound State Road 84 for lighting inspection reports, bridge joint repair, routine structure maintenance, and installation of delineators and raised pavement markings:

• Mobile operations will take place on Eastbound and Westbound I-595 throughout the project limits from 9:00 pm. to 5:00 am on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, to Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
• Mobile operations will take place on Eastbound and Westbound State Road 84 throughout the project limits from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, to Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
• One lane on Eastbound State Road 84 after Flamingo Road will be closed from 9:00pm to 4:00am on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 to Friday, October 10, 2025.
• One lane on Westbound State Road 84 before 136th Avenue will be closed from 9:00pm to 4:00am on Sunday, October 5, 2025 to Friday, October 10, 2025.

SCHEDULED PROJECT NOTICE— THE I-595 CORRIDOR RESURFACING PROJECT:

• THE I 595 EXPRESS LANES FROM I 75 TO TURNPIKE ARE TO BE CLOSED NIGHTLY BEGINNING SUNDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2025, THROUGH THURSDAY, OCTOBER 9, 2025-- The I 595 Express Lanes will be closed nightly from Sunday, October 5, 2025, to Tuesday, October 7, 2025. All express lanes will be closed including the six entrance ramps from 8:00pm to 4:00am. Ongoing milling and resurfacing activities may be impacted by weather conditions. Motorists are encouraged to continue traveling on the I 595 General purpose lanes and State Road 84 until once it is open and safe for travel. Please use caution in the area and follow all posted signs that will be placed in advance of this closure.

• EASTBOUND I-595 GENERAL PURPOSE LANES FROM NOB HILL ROAD TO DAVIE ROAD IS TO BE CLOSED ON SELECT NIGHTS BEGINNING WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2025 THROUGH THURSDAY, OCTOBER 30, 2025-- Eastbound I-595 General Purpose lanes from Nob Hill Road to Davie Road may have up to three lanes closed on select nights beginning Wednesday, October 8, 2025 through Thursday, October 30, 2025. The first lane will close at 9:00 p.m., the second lane at 9:30 p.m., and the third lane at 10:00 p.m., with all lanes reopening by 5:00 a.m. This closure is necessary to safely perform milling and resurfacing operations. A detour, including impacted on- and off-ramps, remains in place along Eastbound State Road 84 from Nob Hill Road to Davie Road. Ongoing milling and resurfacing activities may be impacted by weather conditions. Motorists are encouraged to continue traveling east on State Road 84 and use the next available on-ramp to Eastbound I-595 once it is open and safe for travel. Please use caution in the area and follow all posted detour signs.

In addition to ongoing maintenance activities, the I-595 Resurfacing Project that began on Sunday, June 22, 2025. This project includes repaving the I-595 corridor—encompassing the Express Lanes, general-purpose lanes, and State Road 84—to improve the durability and resilience of the roadway. It also involves upgrading signage and pavement markings to meet current standards and enhancing the pavement surface for a smoother, safer driving experience. All work is being performed during nighttime hours to minimize impacts on daytime traffic. Updates on closures and project progress will continue to be shared as work advances.
