I-595 CORRIDOR TRAFFIC IMPACT REPORT SEPTEMBER 18, 2026 – SEPTEMBER 24, 2026

I-595 SCHEDULED CLOSURES FOR ROUTINE OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE:

The following closures are scheduled on Eastbound and Westbound I-595, Eastbound I 595 Express Lanes, the Southbound and Northbound Florida's Turnpike ramps, Westbound I-595/State Road 84, and Northbound State Road 7/441 to perform work such as crack inspection repairs, bridge traffic railing cleaning, structure maintenance, and routine maintenance work:

  • The north shoulder on the Eastbound I-595 Express Lanes will be closed from 10:00am to 1:00pm beginning Tuesday, September 22, through Wednesday, September 23, 2026, for crack inspection repairs (Structure 86A585).
  • One of two lanes on the Southbound and Northbound Florida's Turnpike ramps to Westbound I-595/State Road 84 will be closed from 9:00pm to 4:00am beginning Wednesday, September 23, through Thursday, September 24, 2026 (Bridge 860561).
  • The Eastbound State Road 84 ramp to Northbound State Road 84/441 will be closed from 9:00pm to 4:00am beginning Monday, September 28, through Wednesday, September 30, 2026, for maintenance repairs to HMLP 86P163. A detour will be in place.
  • Three of five lanes on Eastbound I-595, from Pine Island Road to University Drive, will be closed from 9:00pm to 4:00am beginning Sunday, September 20, through Friday, September 25, 2026, for bridge traffic railing cleaning (Structures 860390/860393).


SCHEDULED PROJECT NOTICE— THE I-595 CORRIDOR RESURFACING PROJECT – PHASE 2:

Westbound I-595 between Southwest 136th Avenue and the E-S Connector (Westbound I-595/Southbound I-75) will have the right lane of the E-S Connector closed from 9:00pm to 5:00am on Sunday, September 20, 2026. Nightly milling and resurfacing activities may be impacted by weather conditions.

Eastbound I-595 from the beginning of the project to Southwest 136th Avenue will have the right lane of the S-E Connector and both lanes of the N-E Connector closed from 9:00pm to 5:00am on Sunday, September 20, 2026. Nightly milling and resurfacing activities may be impacted by weather conditions.
